What an awful night. My infected nailless toe kept throbbing in the night, and I couldn't find a sleeping position that allowed it to let up, so I was a wreck today. I know as a diabetic I heal more slowly, but lack of sleep isn't going to help, nor is the coming heat wave. Still, I managed to get through the work-from-home day with only two PTO hours as a break (I really need to take like a week of actual vacation), and if I can sleep tonight and protect the toe (perhaps in a more non-binding sock) I should be ready for Manhattan tomorrow. It's certainly preferable to trying to ride the world's tallest bicycle:
