Silly Site o' the Day

It was the best of times, it was the worst of... well, starting with the good news, we ventured out to Scarsdale today to lunch at the newest branch of Kura, the revolving sushi franchise. And it was beyond wonderful. The only bad bit was the soy sauce bowls, almost impossible to pour from (we had to basically turn them upside down and keep pressing a little button to make it come out in dribs and drabs). But the food was superb, the conveyor belt mechanism really well thought out, and that they've pretty much figured out how to do this in a post-COVID world amazed me. Great lunch, and we'll be back plenty of times as there's also a Super ShopRite in the same strip mall, so we can get our shopping and repast done at the same time. The more sobering news is that Robin took a bit of a tumble bringing a case of water up the steps. His eyeglasses are miraculously still working despite taking the brunt of it, his forehead and eyebrow region got a bit bloody and bruised, and we're keeping a close eye on things to make sure the damage is only surface. Definitely staying in the rest of the weekend! Wish we'd had more safety warning signs like these displayed on Neil Gaiman's blog.
