Silly Site o' the Day

Today was the first of three medical visits scheduled for this week, as at least two of them promise to take up an inordinate amount of time which I don't want to take as vacation time from work because, you know, I want to use my remaining PTO for fun stuff. I left at 8am and rode the local bus from terminus to terminus, about an hour each way; by the time I got to my destination it was getting rather hot but I was still a bit early, so I checked out the local farmers market and decided to return there afterwards, which was about 90 minutes later. Got some currants and bread and realized they weren't giving out bags, even though I'd have gladly paid for a tote bag (come on, folks, people stumble onto farmers markets all the time and aren't always prepared with bags!), so that was the end of my shopping as I hightailed it back to the bus in 90-degree heat. Got back home around 1pm, pretty wiped from all the waiting and poking and prodding but that's one less thing I have to worry about. Tomorrow I get the car checked while visiting a local specialist. Not at the gas station with these signs, but they do good work anyway.
