Silly Site o' the Day

Last night's fireworks were fairly reasonable, I didn't hear too much after midnight, so that bodes well for area wildlife. Today we ordered my new L-shaped desk for our home office, which will arrive Wednesday, so upon my return from my medical appointment in the horrid heat I'll be getting right to emptying everything out of my current arrangement. But I'm not going to think about that yet. I'm as prepared as I can be for a 10 AM appointment an hour's bus ride away in 90-degree weather, having packed a little kit tonight (wet wipes, powder, rechargers, etc.). How was your Fourth? Did you have to explain America to non-Americans? Good luck with that one!
