Silly Site o' the Day

I had a very successful first appointment with Yet Another New Endocrinologist. I swear, I go through like one every year since my diabetes was diagnosed. I really like this one so I hope she sticks around. Got a relatively clean bill of health, exchanged zero doctor jokes, then back up in the swelter to the (bus) shelter to home. Made pretty good time and got back around 11 AM, but once again, being outside in this mess sapped my energy and I had to nap during the afternoon and again earlier this evening. At least my legs and feet are mostly okay now (although I braced just to be on the safe side) and I don't have to go anywhere until after this heat wave breaks. It'll break soon, right?
