Silly Site o' the Day

Today's jury duty was even more abbreviated than yesterday's. We sat around from 10 to 11:45, went to a long 2+ hour lunch, sat around again for maybe another hour, then were dismissed and told to return tomorrow. As the clerk remarked, that's what jury service is like sometimes, a lot of waiting. But I think I have things down pat now. Finished my Pullman book and have already packed the sequel (which is also apparently a sequel to the His Dark Materials trilogy) for tomorrow, have plans to get my pre-colonoscopy COVID test somewhere in the area during lunch (yesterday I visited my first buffet since the pandemic and felt pretty safe; today I was in and out of a Popeye's fairly quickly and ate outside the courthouse), and am hoping that'll be the last day of service. Still disappointed by the maskless bus riders, but I just try to keep my distance and keep my head down. I mean, if I'm not going to comment on circle beards, I'm not going to comment on maskholes, you know?
