Christmas didn't start out at all well. My head cold seems to have migrated from a sore throat and swollen glands up into my nasal area, and is persisting to the point where I've decided to cancel my Monday dental appointment. It's just not a good idea to go out these days when one isn't feeling well. We did probably a bit too much cooking to prep for the holiday meal, but I think everything came out delicious once we'd regained our appetite. I've scaled back the few household plans I had due to the lingering cold, but my usual Saturday stuff got done anyway, and I'm at least halfway through watching various versions of A Christmas Carol. Here's something for you to watch. Between Manic Pixie Dream Girl's voice and the auto-tune I couldn't get through half of it, but I liked the animation:
