Silly Site o' the Day

It's done! We got our first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at Yankee Stadium this morning. All went swimmingly, I was back home and working by 10:30, and we're now starting to deal with this strange feeling called hope, which has been missing in our lives for far too long. We've been automatically booked for dose #2 on St. Patrick's Day, the week before Mom's 90th birthday, so we hope we'll now be able to see her in person on or around the big day. That's about as far as I want to go for now, though. No sudden trips to influencer-averse New Zealand, at least not right away.
