A very happy birthday to Robin, feeling all the appropriate aches and pains as winter sets in but otherwise happy and healthy. It was, as all days are now, a relatively quiet day spent at home, where I wrote up our annual holiday card roundup message (saying pretty much that all days now flow into one another but we're okay so far) and we relaxed as it was a bit too cold to do much more outside than take out the trash. I'm so grateful I have someone with whom to shelter in place during this adjectival time! I'm not even sure I have the words, but then I'm not a major corporation's Twitter manager like these clever folks challenged to describe 2020 in one word.
