And the count goes on, and the White House occupant gets crazier and more incompetent, so we may actually have a way out of this morass come the weekend. Meanwhile, closer to home, it's Zed's adoption anniversary which we also choose to celebrate as his birthday, so he's unofficially 11 years old now and definitely a middle-aged kitty who, of course, would rather sleep anywhere else than on his bed.
