Thank goodness I got to work from home today. And with my new combo-bus commute planned it appears I won't be foolishly overdoing the walking and crowds any more. So today was a day to stay in, get my work done (fortunately I'm in great shape there, as the partners I'm losing have all but moved to my Jamaican successor and I haven't yet taken on the new assignment), let my intestinal system recover from the past three days, and start on the a-fib monitor my cardio doc would like me to wear for the next two weeks. Showering will be tricky as I'm not supposed to get the area wet, but Robin's already working on a possible solution and thank goodness our rainfall shower assembly came with a handheld addition so I can work around things the next time I shower. And after all, it's only two weeks. Thank goodness for my husband, he's so good at mechanical things! I highly doubt I'd have been able to put the thing on myself. Let's hope I can sleep with it!
