All's Well That Ends Well

My end, that is. By which I mean tush, not demise. I had to wake up around 3 AM to take the second/last dose of my colonoscopy prep formula, and was clean as a whistle by the time Robin and I arrived at the medical facility (after a 90-minute bus ride that shook me up a bit, and two semi-trippings in Manhattan streets). I couldn't have asked for a nicer and more professional team, particularly the anesthesiologist, who was so expert with the sedative needle in the back of my hand that I didn't even have any residual black and blue mark, and I always get those! I was completely unconscious within like three seconds, and felt very refreshed and talkative coming out of sedation. The doc found about a dozen "pre-cancerous" (i.e., benign) polyps which she removed, and she wants me to do it all over again in three years, but I'm not too concerned as I have skin growths inside and out in tons of places in my body. I thought I was doing okay but the lack of sleep caught up to me and I still fell completely asleep on the homeward bound bus as well as after logging on for awhile this afternoon. Just up now for about half an hour and hope to sleep very well indeed tonight!
