Eating Up More Time

As it turned out, basement lady was talking loudly outside until almost 1 AM, so I was pretty much out of it today. Fortunately I didn't have that much work, and I got to do it from home, so in between the dribs and drabs I took around four more PTO hours, with plenty to spare before the 9/30 deadline. We're undergoing so many changes, not just software and AI-this and AI-that, but people leaving and really nobody taking their place so more work for those of us who remain. Given the state of the country, employment elsewhere really isn't an issue. At this point I'm past retirement age, but I'd still like to be kept on until at least age 70 if I can handle it. All I can think of handling now is a nice bed and at least 7-7 hours of shuteye...
