Silly Site o' the Day

The air conditioners are on, presumably for one last time before the temperatures plummet to more seasonable numbers. Nevertheless I've been feeling the heat all day, during our two-store grocery shopping in and out of the car, and later when we decided to try out Untermeyer Gardens in Yonkers and turned right back around when we couldn't find any parking (to be fair, we should probably have arrived well before 3 PM but, you know, we had stuff to do). For that trip we did use the ACs, and I was never so grateful. I'm glad we've gotten at least two naps in, and I'll probably be fairly somnambulnt tomorrow when the rain comes in. I certainly won't be going anywhere near Walmart, if these AI-generated photos are anything to judge by (and really, they're not all that far from reality, or even from our neighborhood, where we actually spotted a woman wearing house slippers get out of her car to pick up a carrot cake)...
