Silly Site o' the Day

Well, best laid plans and so on. Today I got up at 5 AM after tossing and turning uncomfortably for a couple hours, and promptly went into the shower. Which seemed like a good idea until mid-afternoon when I started getting back pain. Pretty sure it was yesterday's two and a half hours of sitting in that tent on that less than sturdy chair through the humidity and rain, but hey, I'm not a doctor. Hope it clears before we go shopping tomorrow or I'll be asking Robin to search for my back brace. At least work went pretty well, and I set my out of office message on Monday when I'm heading into the city for Some Medical Stuff. Rescheduled my initial appointment with the new diabetes doctor for August since jury duty put paid to those plans. I'm not happy that I can't bunch all my medical appointments into two months, but that was probably not doable anyway, and at least the jury duty comes at a pretty good time workwise. Maybe I can use the time to take up making gum wrapper chains again. Here's someone who's even got me beat.
