Silly Site o' the Day

Had a great time today at the company outing, despite the downpours. Rockland County is as beautiful as I could gave hoped for, and while the rain scared away half the expected attendees the people who did come all seemed to have a good time. I spent a couple hours conversing with my fellow exec assistant who basically ran the thing for her partner, the host, and it was great seeing a number of retired partners to whom I hadn't properly said goodbye during COVID times. I felt safe and stayed at least 6 feet apart most of the time, give or take a hug or two (I turned my face during all the hugs), so I'm fairly sure I'm good to go. And my goodness, the food was so yummy! I was even encouraged to take some home for Robin. Another bad deluge once I hit Yonkers prevented me from scoping out other cars for any funny bumper stickers, I'm just grateful to have made it home safely! It still feels really muggy, so we have all the windows closed and the ACs on so we can breathe.
