Silly Site o' the Day

I had been told my echocardiogram today was cancelled, then the insurance company decided to cover it last-minute so it was back on again. I was able to log off work by 10 and rest before going out, and I'm really glad I did. After the echo I was asked to do a hyperventilation test so the insurance folks could approve the stress test (which they did by the end of the day), then I had a surprise consult with the cardiologist (who really seems to like talking) and a blood draw, so the bloodwork I was going to get next week was cancelled. Just as well, I'd rather get it done before the vaccine booster and flu shot anyway. I brought home some tasty Indian food from our favorite place a block away from the medical building, and after 2+ masked hours I was more than ready to collapse. I woke up feeling awful, and haven't gotten better since. Even had to skip the bike. Not sure whether it was the food or the masked running around or the temperature changes, I just hope I can bounce back tomorrow, and am glad I have no plans to go out again until Sunday. I mean, I need to think positively, yes?
