With the car working fine despite not getting its oil changed yesterday, we were off bright and early to Mom's place to help with shopping and other items, as well as to give her a "birthday" cake (see, I was the one born on 2 December but she did all the work). What little I had of the cake was delicious. I mean, I can't go crazy with this sort of thing, which is why I will not be perusing the pairing guide of Pop-Tarts and fine whiskeys (via BoingBoing).
