Just finished watching last Friday's Real Time, and all the stuff Maher mentioned made me shake my head once again at the alternate reality many people in this country seem to believe in so fervently - a reality that's objectively provable to be false. It wouldn't bother me so much if they didn't have all kinds of potential political power over me, or if their alternate reality was like that depicted in this Alternate Reality TV generator (via the Generator Blog).
