It wasn't entirely unexpected, but the tiredness hit me like a brick today. I of course blame the past week, in addition to allergens (there must be some tree near our bedroom and home office windows that's in peak bloom). Thank goodness work was reasonably light, I actually drifted off in the living room recliner earlier this afternoon. I expect I'll be back to whatever the new normal is by the weekend, then of course I have to incorporate the once-weekly (so far) office commute into my new routine. I'm glad I've started that process, as a directive has come down from another business unit (not the one to which I'm coded) that they expect all employees in-office 3 days a week. So if I have to I'm primed to shift to that, but considering the effects the commute now has on my body I hope it doesn't come to pass. But if I can stand it, maybe I can start to take more advantage of the city's many offerings, like its museums. Even so, I don't think it'll come to commentary:
