Silly Site o' the Day

I spent much of the day getting my stuff organized for my first actual in-office-working day in over three years. The last time I tried to work there I couldn't get both external monitors to work, so I have no idea what I'll be in for and I'm taking all sorts of peripherals that I sincerely hope I won't need. In the meantime I'm maintaining as close to Inbox Zero as I can, fearing that my current laptop may take a permanent nap and not wake up. Interestingly, it worked perfectly today on the new docking station (a Thunderbolt G4 cube), which I absolutely love as it's so much less clunky than the old one! I'm beginning to wonder if it wasn't the docking station at fault. Nonetheless, the laptop is a discontinued model and the firm wants me on the new one anyway, so that'll get done soon. In general I'm using spring cleaning time to provide myself with more space wherever I can. But I'm not about to go nuts with these horrid interior design ideas, so no worries.
