We had an extremely low-key Christmas this year, due in part to the weather (we didn't have to wear nearly as many layers as in the past couple of days but it's certainly not "warmed up" that much yet) and in part to the various ailments we still suffer. Alas, the root vegetables didn't roast long enough to be edible by the time we had our holiday dinner, and I'll be re-roasting and perhaps even rehydrating them in a saucepan tomorrow. Most everything else on the plate was yummy though, and I finished watching the versions of A Christmas Carol that I felt like viewing this year, and even organized my audio versions to give a listen to in 2023. Being no fools we didn't go anywhere, but through the magic of the internet we can see Christmas all around Europe:
