Silly Site o' the Day

Sometimes one needs to look on the bright side of sports. Liverpool has hung onto eighth place, the spot on the Premier League table where I used to say I'd be happy if they ended up at the end of the season. And the Yankees are still the champions of their division even as their PEDs-- I mean, bats failed against a team that's had their number all season. And let's face it, every baseball fan who isn't from Houston and isn't Keith Hernandez is rooting for Philadelphia in the World Series anyway. Meanwile, I took my aching body out for some brief shopping earlier, and found the few things I can't do included hanging onto the railing as I climbed the stairs, so it looks like I won't be going out again until the arm is much better.
