Silly Site o' the Day

I'm still floating on air from last night's experiences, and work didn't disappoint. My "progression" (in our firm exec assistants don't get promotions, we progress in competency levels instead) was publicized along with the other EAs' progressions by the head of our non-client-facing department, and I got a lot of nice congratulatory messages, ending the week on a high note. I really want to get out and go places now that normal autumn weather has arrived (okay, the temps were a bit elevated yesterday and today, but we needed that in order to warm up the apartment), but I don't want to go by myself, so I'm probably spending the weekend watching baseball and English football and taking care of the usual errands. Meanwhile in Canada, don't forget Monday is Canadian Thanksgiving while we celebrate Indigenous People's Day...
