Silly Site o' the Day

OMG this back! We made it into Manhattan and back in the space of a little under five hours, including a one-hour medical appointment, and after I'd walked around a bit I did feel better. A couple hours after we returned home my new back brace arrived, and that plus heat and rest (neither of us slept well last night) seemed to help as well. I hope I can kick this back thing before Saturday, when I'm due to visit Mom; four hours in a car plus sinking into Mom's couch will probably not do my back much good. I think I'll opt for a dining room chair instead. Although maybe I could manage a bit of thrift-store shopping...
