Silly Site o' the Day

My back is better, and the feet were okay enough to risk strolling down after the fog lifted to our neighborhood Block Party, such as it was. Great excuse to get out, find out if there's anything I should know about what's happening around where we live, and get some exercise (thanks to my walking stick) that I won't be getting on the bike tonight. Found decent bagels a block away, a lovely kosher Pakistani cafe, even a place where I might be able to purchase That Which Is Now Legal in NYS once licenses have been granted so I don't have to schlep into Manhattan for that. Masked almost all the way, as the COVID numbers are rising again and I'd rather not have to deal with the disease or its after-effects if I can help it. Lots of smiling folks and chalk art, although nothing like this I'm afraid.
