I always know it's going to be tough day when we start with shopping, particularly if our sleep has been restless, but honestly, I'm not sure how I got through today. I had to find second-wind, third-wind, even fourth-wind reserves. But it's done now and we have all the basic and don't have to shop until it's no longer frigid outside. In fact, I don't even have to go out except for getting my crown in on Monday, and I'm in my car to and from the dental office, and Monday's the least objectionable day this coming week in any case. So hurrah, time to celebrate the weekend! Let's start with some warm (post-)holiday forgiveness:
