The foot's marginally better, so much so that I could walk around inside with only a slight limp and travel at my normal pace outside with my cane. Who knows what tomorrow will bring. But in the meantime I'm pain-free enough that I have an empty in-box at last and all the household finances are taken care of, making it easier to relax and wind down a bit in the evening. Mind you, I'm not as nonchalant as someone getting killed in medieval art, but I'm pretty chill right now.
