Silly Site o' the Day

Now that the humidity seems to be behind us, we're hoping to make it an animated-movie weekend, with Incredibles 2 tomorrow and the 50th anniversary limited release of Yellow Submarine on Sunday. Considering Robin doesn't much care for the latter, and was fairly disappointed with yesterday's movie night choice of Coco (I blubbed steadily for the final 10 or so minutes, and absolutely adored it), it was probably a good thing to give it a rest this evening in favor of me watching baseball and zonking out and him sitting in the living room listening to music and, um, zonking out. But not before we had a weird discussion during Jeopardy! about bacon used as a bookmark. OMG, this is a thing! In fact, Robin found an old Serious Eats article that talks about just this. Perhaps it's what's led to the idea of fake food as bookmarks, from Japan, naturally.
