My stomach is still churning a bit, but I feel mildly better now that the rains have come and my car door window is fixed. Hoping to actually get out and about in the next few days. Possibilities include City Island to our east, the New Croton Dam to our north, and the High Line to the south. I've wanted to see the first one the longest so I think that wins out. Wherever we go I will be wearing my sensible walking sneakers and not any of these shoes.
