Finally out of my soaking clothes. Actually my sneakers and socks took the brunt of the flash floods, which turned most Manhattan intersections into rushing rivers. Impossible to cross the street without wading into them, and I had to do that twice then sit on the bus with soaked feet for 90 minutes. I expect I'll really feel it tomorrow, at least in my left foot which feels very weak right now. Amazingly, these real people recreating romance novel covers don't seem to feel the cold either...
