My goodness, that was a long commute. The NYC commuter buses are on a Saturday schedule today, which means they come every half hour. I knew I wasn't going to make the 5:30, so I leisurely strolled to refill my MetroCard then huffed and puffed down and back up stairs because the elevator was out. Didn't do my foot much good. Made it in plenty of time for the 6:00 - which never came. So half an hour later we all piled onto the 6:30, which filled up quickly, then right after the last pick-up the 6:00 bus came out from behind us as if to taunt us. So yeah, not fun.
