Well, I've ticked off everything on my "newcomer checklist" at work, I'm as up to speed as I can be with the new-to-me systems, and I can't wait to actually have some assignments to do, but considering it's the summer and there are so many of us to get used to this thing it's probably just as well. They even let us out at 3 PM today in anticipation of the upcoming 3-day holiday weekend! Speaking of which, it's July 3 so that calls for this reminder from Stephen Merchant:
