My favorite holiday awaits! Family tomorrow, and the two-of-us feast on Friday, when I will most certainly not be participating in any Black Friday nonsense. (Remember, it's Buy Nothing Day, people!) And yet, for some reason it all seems to be happening a bit fast. Part of it is because, let's face it, Thanksgiving is early this year. But it's also because Sandy really threw us. We didn't get to celebrate Hallowe'en as we normally did (possibly just as well since Datsa is no longer with us; it would have been his 20th birthday) and just having our heat and electricity back after a cold dark week was enough. But it's left me all confused, so I'm hoping Fake Kristen Stewart can shed some light on things:
