Silly Site o' the Day

The weather was lovely outside if a bit warm, but I'm still unsteady on my left leg due to the IT band strain, so we've decided on another at-home weekend. Today Robin made a fantastic discovery: we can get Optimum TV on our Apple TV system! That means we don't have to switch back and forth every time we want a streaming service that Optimum happens not to carry, and we no longer need our cable boxes nor our cable remotes. And the picture is so much better! The cable box made everything look like it was put through a digital film filter, whereas when we watch our normal Optimum cable channels using the Apple TV they're as digital-video clear as they used to be. Rob's going to call Optimum this week to see if we can get a further discount for returning the boxes, but in the meantime our lives are immeasurably simplified, which is saying something in a 21st century world. At this rate I may soon actually understand string theory fashion!
