Silly Site o' the Day

It's possible I overdid it today. The lobster truck was in the neighborhood, usually a short bus ride away, but this was also the day of the neighborhood block party and the buses were rerouted. So it took awhile to get back up to the block party with my lobster roll, and the party itself wasn't all that (mostly stuff for kids), so I bought a pair of earrings then walked home, passing by the local Mexican bakery/food joint for a horchata and gazpacho. By the time I made it home I'd succumbed to a bit of heat exhaustion, which took way too long to dissipate. Fortunately I was distracted by my 15th anniversary-at-work gift, a new Apple Watch, arriving at the precise right time (being a watch) as my wrist tendonitis is almost healed, and I think having a watch back on that area will help keep it sturdy. can't wait to show it off at work on Tuesday, where they're probably way too concerned about NFTs to care.
