Silly Site o' the Day

Got through my first shortened Friday of the summer, headed down to the local gourmet place for some shopping, then returned to find a jury summons in the mail. Naturally it conflicts with a medical appointment, which I've now cancelled. Hoping that, since it says I'm an alternate juror, I won't have to make the 90-minute local bus trip in and remain masked all day (because I wouldn't dare be without one unless I'm outside and there's nobody around me, which isn't very likely), but I don't think I'll be that lucky. Oh well, maybe I'll pass some cool murals on the way, or perhaps even interactive sculptures.
