Silly Site o' the Day

The plan today, besides resting, was the assemble the holiday cards with their inserts, stamps, labels, etc. and to catch up on finances. So I opened the home office closet and started straightening out all the cards I've saved from over at least the past decade. I've saved cards I've received since I was a kid, hoping they'll serve as memory joggers when I'm older. Most are in our loft storage space, but the most recent ones were sort of all over the place in the closet. It took more out of me than I thought to get them in order and stored correctly, after which I was too tired to tackle the cards, so finances it was... only the checkbook still wasn't reconciling, which necessitated another break and so forth. I'm glad we had no plans to go out today despite the mild temps, as it was foggy as all get-out for much of the morning and we had another electrical glitch in the afternoon due, we think, to the wind. By evening the checkbook had been done, the cards were ready to tackle tomorrow (either before or after grocery shopping), and we'd watched the Black Widow movie which featured some fun performances and a character who has just appeared in the Hawkeye limited series we're watching, so I feel caught up there. Now to go find real-life Easter eggs, even though it's not the season for it.
