Sillly Site o' the Day

A good day of much stuff-do-age! We got the food shopping out of the way early as we weren't sure when the rain was coming in. I've done 5+ miles on the bike, made my bean salad (which did not feature any faces like these foods) and took care of the normal day-to-day, watched the Yankees win and Mets lose, and was more or less getting into the NYC Homecoming concert (weird to see unmasked folks massing, even outdoors, but learned that nobody got in unless they were at least partially vaccinated) when, of course, the skies opened. Now they're filling time talking about whether the currrent band of showers will pass through quickly enough to restart the show (because CNN counted on airing it all evening and now they have dead air that they couldn't possibly fill with 24/7 news like they were set up to do back in the '80s) but of course the audience has gone, so at this point it's a matter of how much they need to massage Clive Davis' ego. Back to watching the slow-motion train wreck...
