Silly Site o' the Day

Aaaaand I'm outta here! "Here" being my work laptop in my home office, which will now be dormant for the next 11 days, give or take some testing once we set up the new desk we have yet to order. Meanwhile we have more immediate issues, so we went out in the rain, gassed up the car for next Thursday's trip into NJ, got a couple more rolls of quarters (the local bank says there's a shortage again, but there seems to have only ever been a shortage at that bank) for the laundry, and drove into Yonkers to fill our fridge with necessary groceries, Independence Day feast goodies, pantry staples, and a few treats like cherries which I haven't had in like forever. I also scored a couple of bagels, one of which I ate immediately, and I'm thinking of saving the other for my cat sandwich. The sun was actually shining by the time we got back, but then it started coming down again enough to postpone the Mets-Yankees baseball game. I found enough of a second win to make a bean salad which both Robin and I have been craving, but I'm waiting until tomorrow morning to unpack the rest of the non-perishables, as I'm dead on my feet now.
