Silly Site o' the Day

It's done at last! Ever since last summer, when we first started planning on me being home for the long-haul, we've been discussing a new home office setup. When I had my desk cleaned out at the company's HQ and picked it up last October, plans were set in further motion. And when I placed the order for dedicated monitors and a docking station for my work laptop, the need became urgent. We ordered an L-shaped desk on Monday, it got here Wednesday, and today Robin set it up and plugged in all my various electronics. And I now have a very professional-looking home office, where my work setup is completely separate from my home one (and I can run them both simultaneously if I wish). I've tested everything except the built-in pop-up cameras on the work monitors, saving that for Monday when there's someone to talk to. Still not sure where I'm going to put all the office'y stuff I've accumulated, but all the stuff I needed to be at hand is well within reach, and most of the rest is under the bed for now. I'm feeling such an overwhelming sense of relief at it all! Not even aborted dreams memes can get me down!
