Silly Site o' the Day

A wonderful stay-at-home-out-of-the-heat day! We threw away some old cutting boards and a very unsatisfactory grill pan now that we have a decent one (courtesy of "points" at work; next up, griddle!), I made a tasty stir-fry with bok choy and the brand-new hand-held mandolin that just arrived (along with gloves I can wear specifically to avoid cutting myself using it or a knife), and best of all I finally caught up with Pokemon GO after over a year. I'd discovered a couple weeks back during a long bus ride to and from my doctor appointment that they've introduced yet another generation of critters, and my bag needs a major clean-out if I'm going to play this again as, if I endeavor to catch too many more new ones, I'll be sinking another five bucks in Niantic's coffers. Playing with my Pokemon spreadsheet was actually a lot of fun, weirdly. Keeps up my skills when I'm not working, I suppose. And seriously, it's better than covering your face with Nutella. Isn't it?
