Silly Site o' the Day

Well, I couldn't have asked for a better morning, as I ventured into the part of the neighborhood where we used to live to check out the local medical center, get set up with a new primary care person, secure recommendations for nearby specialists since I'm no longer going to be working in Manhattan... and everything went so swimmingly they even took blood there! After jotting down everything I learned (including my new setpoint weight of 235) I'll be making another appointment for a couple weeks from now to go over the bloodwork results, after which I'll be all set to start making appointments come April Fool's Day (all being well we get the second COVID-19 vaccine shot on St. Patrick's Day then wait two weeks for it to come to full efficacy, which takes us exactly to the end of the month). I even had time to stop at the local bank before that, cash a check, and score a full ten rolls of quarters for the laundry (and to, one hopes, finally complete my state park quarters collection). Got back home in time for a group meeting, then work kept me fairly busy until about an hour ago, and now I'm prepping for Quarantine Quitchen. A good and fun day overall!
