Silly Site o' the Day

White Rabbits, and what a wonderful day! After over two months of dithering and wondering and hand-wringing, I finally found an auto shop to replace the only one which had ever serviced my Hyundai and which had gone out of business suddenly last November. This place is about a block away from where we used to live in south Riverdale before we had a car, which meant we could walk around the neighborhood for the half hour it took for the oil change and safety check, and I got all sorts of good vibes from it. Definitely a load off my mind. Now all the shopping is done and there's nothing to do but binge-watch and read and see what the groundhog has to say (did you know the pagan origins of Groundhog Day? I did not!) and watch the ads in between the grunting guys in padding and helmets playing some sort of game tomorrow. (I'm sorry, but "football" is what my beloved Liverpool team is playing now, better than just about any other team ever. I think it sucks to be feeling so positive when the world around us is going so negative, but I try to have a little perspective and just get through every day. And I won't apologize for feeling happy and contented today.
