Even though my ex-husband was a member of the Armed Forces, I've always been a staunch pacifist so military-fetishizing days like this make me want to steer clear of politics altogether, which I more or less managed to do whilst clearing more hours off our DVR today (down from 97% to 57% in one long weekend!).
