The heat, which drains me despite the low humidity, saw to it that I went straight home after dropping the car off at the shop. I passed inspection with no issues, the windshield washer thing works again, no problems with the power steering belt... but I could use new brakes. Fortunately I have money put aside for things like that, so I'll bring it back again next week for the brake job. It's not like I had any plans for my Wednesday PTO days this summer. I can't even have a lousy hot dog lately:
