Not a bad day at all, as I got lots of work done from home in preparation for cleaning up month-end stuff, and also managed to get a lot of Olympic watching in as I won't be doing that live for the next few days. Lots of fun, although I admit I wasn't as into it as this cat. Reports have started coming in that many San Diego con attendees now have COVID, which reminds me once again how much I don't want to go to crowded indoor places any more. I'm much happier and more comfy here at home, thankewverymuch.

Same here, Elayne.
Infected once, two years ago, asymptomatic in that moment, and still not sure what the virus is doing to me now. Not willing to take the chance, and the one local convention I might have resumed attending has now gone "masking optional but recommended".
And local public transit and public health agencies have not resumed the sensible measures they once had in place...
