Silly Site o' the Day

England has made it to the final of the Women's World Cup, winning a great semifinal against Australia that was very exciting to watch. The Mets and Yankees could be a bit more exciting but I think that will have to wait for the 2024 season; at least the Mets won this afternoon. I was asleep for much of the day. Not sure whether I picked up something from NJ or my body's just catching up with me. I'm more than ready for it to be autumn already. I even decided to make a bean salad today to get back into the swing of things (bean salad being my food of choice to bring to gatherings of family and friends that always seem to happen in the autumn). Meanwhile, this is decidedly not life in Russia.
