Silly Site o' the Day

It being a weird day in our binational household, I learned new things from Robin today about events like the Treaty of Aranjuez and how the Revolutionary War wasn't fought in isolation by the American colonies but as part of pretty much a world war going on at the time. They don't teach this stuff in US schools, folks! Aside from that, we watched 1776 of course, and Robin scorched the usual meats with brand-new buns from Schmidt's 746 line of tasty keto bread (I love their rye). We used no condiment packets (via BoingBoing). The last of the comics are now down in my trunk, but my neighbor can't pick them up until tomorrow, so it'll be cutting things close. I've finally figured out the rest of my week off, seeing my godson and uncle tomorrow and my cousins Thursday, and venturing into Long Island to be with friends on Saturday (Friday is laundry day and Sunday is Best Stay Off All Roads Day). And somewhere in there I continue to rest...
