Silly Site o' the Day

The heat wave has finally broken, with a tremendous storm burst about an hour ago. The Mets are currently in a rain delay but the Yankees are playing and winning so far, with Judge seeming very healthy, which bodes well for an entertaining game when I'm in the Stadium next Tuesday. This morning we braved the last of the heat to take down trash and retrieve mail, and that was about it. We're waiting until tomorrow to shop, so today consisted of three meals all prepared on the stovetop (with help from microwaved rice and cooked-in-oven meatballs), something I'd never be able to do before the over-sink dish drain (I washed up at least three times today, that drain not only frees the stovetop burners but dries the dishes so efficiently!). Nice to remember I can still cook. The angel hair (appropriate because we watched the rest of Good Omens 2 today) was yummy but would make lousy colorful pasta art.
